Through a well-timed email, I’ve just managed to get Suad Amiry, author of Sharon and My Mother-in-Law, to the Sydney Writers’ Festival this May. I am now inordinately pleased with myself.

Just read about Suad Amiry, sounds quite remarkable; will have to get my hands on her book. I’m hoping to visit Ramallah later this year so I’ll try to get along to the Festival to meet her.
